There are many car companies, who are building electric vehicles. Most of them use AC motors for their vehicles. It is difficult to install an AC motor and expensive comparing with a DC motor.
DC motors are perfect for electric vehicles and we are using those for our latest conversions because they are less costly and simple installing process than AC motors. Though, DC motors have more stability you can use used motor for your electric vehicle.
